Our unique head lice spray kills lice and lice eggs (nits) naturally using a non-toxic formula that contains sodium chloride, more commonly known as salt. Fast and easy to use, just spray on Licefreee Spray and it starts killing head lice and nits on contact. Allow the head lice spray to dry naturally, no rinsing or washing is needed. However, once the hair has dried completely after treatment, you may then resume regular grooming habits (i.e. wash hair, style, etc.)

Shake well. Hold bottle 4 - 6 inch from head; spray on dry hair and entire scalp, starting at the hairline and working inward toward crown. Thoroughly saturate all hair and scalp; to be effective all lice and nits must come in full contact with the product. For best results, allow product to air dry naturally, do not rinse out. Dead lice and nits may be removed with a fine toothed comb, if desired. Once hair has dried completely, you may resume normal grooming habits (i.e. wash hair, style). Product may be used as often as desired; washing hair regularly is recommended to avoid product build-up. For body and crab lice, spray on affected areas and let dry.Children Under 6 Months of Age:

A: It all depends on hair length, texture, and thickness. You want to be sure to use enough product to fully saturate all of the hair and scalp.

A: Yes, Licefreee! Spray has been shown to kill lice and nits (eggs). Efficacy studies can be found on our website at licefreee.com. However, please note in order for the product to kill the eggs it must come in contact with it which is why it is important to fully saturate the hair. Q: Do you have to wash the product out after it dries? Also can you blow dry or use curling iron after it dries?

A: You do not have to wash it out after use. You can also use styling tools after it has dried and the treatment is complete. However, because Licefreee can dry out hair (it contains sodium chloride), you may want to wash and condition after the treatment is complete to reduce damaging your hair from the heat.

Q: Do you use the comb after you wet the hair with the product before it dries?

A: Wonderful question. If you comb the hair out while the hair is still wet, you may come across live lice and eggs. So, if possible it is best to wait for the hair to dry, as per directions. However, if you would like to comb through the hair before the hair has dried, then we recommend you wait 20 minutes or more before starting the combing process. Thank you!

This stuff really works. I highly recommend it. I parted my daughter’s hair down the middle. I dry combed it first to get all of it out then I use the product by spraying it at the roots going through every section saturating the hair and let it sit for about two hours after that, I combed through it again and what was little that was left was Dead then we shampooed and conditioned as usual after that I combed through it every day checking to see, but there was nothing Will buy the product and use it on her again in about a week just to be sure

So I'm African American and my son got lice from school. I was totally freaking out. I've never dealt with it or no one my family. His doctor prescribed something but it was $160 with insurance, which I going to pay because I wanted to be done quick. But I research a bit and across this and saw the awesome reviews and it's $10. I figured I'll try this before going the expensive route. He has a afro. I drench his who head, used the whole bottle. We did it early evening. It dried maybe after a hour but I wash it out until the next day. When washing I saw all the dead lice. I saw no sign of lice afterwards. However because of paranoia I repeated this two days later. Then I did a 3rd treatment exactly a week later just to make sure I killed all the eggs. And he's been lice free since thank God! Now that comb isn't mad for coarse curly hair. I just bought a cheap detangling combo to throw away after use.

Salt water. If you’re buying this product you are buying expensive salt water. If salt water was effective for treating lice, humans would have eradicated lice several thousand years ago. This product doesn’t kill lice or their eggs. I foolishly grabbed this one off the shelf when I was short on time, only to realize what I’d accidentally purchased at home later. Buy a mineral-oil-shampoo or dimethacone treatment that smothers the lice and lice-comb, comb, comb for a week.

thought it was working but it didn't plus the comb that it comes with is a waste. Buy a better quality comb. So hard to say if it was the product or the comb to make this successful but it takes 2 for this product to work. I did like the idea of not having to wash it out immedietly but they say it kills nits so combing is needing which is not true. I still needed to go into a salon for this to be done.

My mom used this on me when I got lice from a sleepover as a kid and it worked great. When I got lice from one of my students, this is what I went with and it was just as good as it was 15 years ago. It smells like licorice which isn't my favorite, but the fact that it works with just one treatment without using a bunch of nasty chemicals is well worth it. I have very thick, wavy, untextured hair. I hope I never need to use this again, but I know that I do end up buying it I won't be disappointed with something that's stinky and makes my scalp all itchy without even doing anything, which has been my experience with every other lice treatment.
