The legs on all the chairs were scratched. On one leg on each chair had a sticker that didn't come off easy with taking the paint off, this was a disaster.

On two of the four chairs I ordered, there is one leg on each (2 chairs) that is shorter than the rest by 1 1/4” this caused the chair to be unbalanced when trying to sit down and grabbing it, is very obvious as well you can tell right away. They are out of black chairs which I can’t even exchange them. Very dissatisfied because these chairs are not cheap for them to have these issues.

These are really lovely looking chairs, but the assembly was awful. These weren’t made with much care at all. What could have been 15 minute assembly time turned into over an hour because of how badly the holes were drilled into the wood. Keep that in mind before purchasing. I also had some issues with delivery for these chairs. They were scanned as “delivered,” but didn’t show up for about 3-4 hours after. It’s very frustrating that Fedex scans before true delivery. I’ve had that happen once before. Target made it right though and assured me that they’d send replacements if my package never showed up and even gave me a $10 gift card for my troubles. 10/10 for customer service!

These chairs look nice and elegant but have a few flaws- one being the black velvet fabric is a major fuzz collector. I have to use a lint roller every single day to keep them looking decent or they are covered in lint/fuz/dust/hair. Also the holes to assemble were off and my husband (who is very handy with projects) had to drill new holes and was frustrated while assembling these. All in all they are beautiful chairs but the lint collector aspect is going to remain annoying!

I love these chairs, but there's a bit of a design flaw in the weight distribution. They were easy to assemble, even though the inner wood frame on several of the chairs I got was extremely rough wood, and I got several splinters in my hands. The holes all lined up smoothly. Several of the black wood legs came dinged or chipped, but I bought these as cheap chairs knowing my kids will destroy them anyway, so I personally won't return them for that. The biggest drawback is that they are very back heavy, and even my 7# cat can easily tip them over backwards standing on the back. We have discussed gluing weights on the inside front of the seat to prevent them from tipping backwards so easily. We got the champagne velour, and the fabric is quite thin, and there were many hanging strings in the seams that I had to cut. For the price and for my rarely used dining room, I'm ok with them, but I have other Christopher Knight pieces I bought through Target that I feel were a better value. If you were looking to use them daily, I would be hesitant to buy them, I'm not sure they would hold up to regular use.

Chairs came in sealed box full of black grease marks. I sent them back for refund.

Cute, look fancy but definitely on the cheaper side. Packaged well although the fabric could have been a bit more protected had to vacuum them and used a lintel roller. I hope they last a decent time

I put them together myself, it wasnt hard, I like them alot and glad i ordered them, some of the legs are scraped a little but i will touch them up.

Love these chairs. Took a bit to put together, but they're gorgeous.

These chairs make our dining room look fancier than it is. I was debating between linen and velvet and I'm so glad I went with the velvet. It gives our dining room a chic look! A few of the legs wiggle but it's not noticeable. My husband did sigh at the amount of work it would take to put them together which was probably 10-15 minutes per chair. Overall, a great value though!

Great chairs, comfy and all 8 make my dining room look sophisticated. Love the Hollywood glam look. My husband said it was hard to line the holes up while putting together and he used to put furniture together and deliver it for a living. He said they should put dowels in the chair back so the seat will stay lined up with the holes but overall they took about 20 minutes a piece to put together!

For the price point, they are attractive chairs. My concerns are that they may not last very long based on the manufacturing. I do not host enough to use dining chairs regularly so I hope these hold up several years. In assembly, there were numerous issues in alignment of chair seat and seat back that resulted in 2 of 6 chairs being impossible to put together. One set of the MDF legs splintered when the screw was not even half way through and two more chair legs had pre-drilled holes that appeared only half drilled which means the screw would not go in far enough to secure the leg to the chair. A couple other chairs sounded like they splintered the leg in screwing in but the legs seem stable. I will note I am not a very strong individual and the bolts were not tightened when the legs began to make a splintering sound..... The exchange set I received easily screwed together.... Target managed the situation with minimal hassle which I appreciate.

I received 3 sets of chairs with no instructions. Called the manufacturer who emailed the instructions. Advised the manufacturer the th screw provided were too long and were splitting the wood legs. Received no solution. Was made to speak with Target for replacement chairs, none available. Target made things better and the chairs look nice.

Bought these chairs to go with my dark wood farmhouse table. The chairs look expensive and are a great quality and price.

The chairs came in a timely manner and were well packed. That was the end of the satisfactory part of this purchase. The chairs needed to be assembled, which was not noted in the product description. The legs for one chair were scratched and scraped. The legs for the other chair were poorly finished and had several long drip marks in the ttop finish coat. And the assembly directions were for an upholstered headboard, not these chairs. Three strikes and they were out. Returned them to our local Target for credit. Will not be reordering this item.

The chairs look great, easy to put together and super comfy to sit in. Definitely recommend these chairs!

The fabric of all six chairs I ordered came out of the box snagged in multiple places... this wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that the chairs can't be put together! The holes on the seat of the chair don't line up to the backs. You can get one of the five screws in, then the rest can't be threaded due to only lining up half way. In the picture I linked you can see the middle one threaded just fine then the rest go in about a third of the way at all different angles because the holes are all off.
