I have a senior silky terrier recently diagnosed with the unfortunate genes that are causing degenerative heart failure. He is the sweetest boy in the whole world and such a good sport about the frequent vet visits, bloodwork, and 6 hour round trips to the nearest doggie cardiologist. He was a little down last night bc one of the meds causes tummy troubles on an empty stomach and he resists food to avoid meds. (He figured out that we feed him about 30 min before he is due for meds). We googled low-sodium treats for doggies and this popped up so we went out and bought a bunch today- he didn’t hesitate and was so happy after this special treat! He took his evening meds about 2 hours ago and no signs of discomfort. The best part is he is so cheerful and happy bc of the special treat.

I gave my Yorkie his first ice cream treat. I only gave him half of the cup and after that, he didn't feel good. He was walking slow, he dosen't get excited much, and he hardly bark. He hasn't threw up or have a bad stomach yet, but the symptoms might give it away. I don't have a vet in my town, so we have to go somewhere else for a vet, which will take too long. I will never get this ice cream again, and you shouldn't either. My sister was right, never trust Purina.

I like the Ingredients— doesn’t seem like anything harmful in there and my fur baby loved it! Nice way to cool her off when we come back indoors during warmer months. She is small (12 pounds), so one of these cups lasted her about 3 servings. (Total of 12 in the box for us) I just put the little paper tab back on the top and stuck it back in the freezer. Will repurchase! I am not sure about the taste (I didn’t try it!) But, it’s supposed to be peanut butter and she liked it!
