Finesse Highback Office Chair - Modway

This chair is really nice looking. I wanted something with a thicker padded seat, and this one has it although it's pretty firm. Overall it's comfortable. I thought the color would be more white, but it is more of an off-white. My desk is white for comparison. Doesn't tilt back much, but I have no issue with the height adjustment as I read in other reviews. Assembly I did have to pick out some cushioning that was clogging the screw holes and took a couple tries to get them to align and catch, but overall not too much trouble.

White is not white. It’s cream. Off white at best. The threading is grey. Doesn’t look like the picture.

Bought 3 of these after a really long debate on which office chairs to get. I read all these complaints on various chairs, not high enough, too high, not soft enough, too hard to assemble. After looking at all different chairs, I settled on this chair due to the modern look and certainly the price. I am very pleased with my decision. The chairs look very expensive, thicker than I thought, and comfortable. I can't rock back as well as I normally would, but I'm usually heads down working and only do that during a rare break. If you're looking for a comfortable chair, crisp modern expensive look, for a great price...this is the chair. My 13 year old son put these together for me, I didn't watch, but I can't imagine they were that difficult if he could do it. My husband did tighten the arms after him though, but that took him a minute a chair. Great buy!

The only reason I even give this chair 2 stars is for the sleek design and modern appeal. I do like the angled back support but other than that, this chair is very cheaply made in comparison to the price point. It took me over an hour just to screw the arms into the chair base.... The holes were not properly drilled to line up the arm and the chair base. It was very frustrating and even once I "made it work" the one arm was still slightly crooked. I'm 5'7" and the chair itself is not the worst to sit in, but extremely firm and it basically sits on the ground even at the highest setting. I'm about average height so any chair should work for me. What's the point of it being adjustable if it only adjusts two inches? Also, when I lean back in the chair, you can feel a gap between the fabric and the cushion of the chair... the description used the term "generous ribbed cushioning"is misleading... You can feel the air release from the gap every time you lean back in the chair. I was so excited for this chair but now I'm severely disappointed. Will probably return....

A gorgeous chair! And unlike a few comments I'd seen, it's the perfect height for my desk. My sciatica isn't in pain from sitting in it all day either.

Not a bad chair except that it only adjusts from low to super low. Trying to buy taller shock adjustment now so I can reach my desk why sitting (practically on the floor) in this chair.

Assembly was a difficult - the arms did not line up with the bolt holes. With a fair amount of bending I was able to assemble the chair, but it was not easy. The seat it self is comfortable but it does not rise up high enough for a comfortable seating position.

Very easy install. Looks super sleek. Not the most comfy chair though
