Q: What are the colors in the rug? Is that grey or aqua and perhaps rust?
A: background is cream, yes there is a rust color, muted gold, olive green & the other elusively named color, which may be described as a light cadet blue, or perhaps a blue sea foam There is no gray on the rug. On my monitor the colors show up exactly as they are on the actual rug. your local store may have them in stock so you can see them.
submitted byAjumma - 8 years agoA: If you zoom in, the stems appear to be gray. On my rug it's a charcoal gray. There is rust in the outline of the heart shaped petals. A faint asparagus green color outlines the teardrop shaped petals, too.

A: The pile height of the Maples Rug Paisley Floral rug is 1/2". Thank you.
submitted byMaples Rugs - 4 years agoBrand expertA: The backing is not thick. In total with the backing, I would estimate the rug is about a third of an inch thick. If you were to place the rug on a tiled floor with quarter in grout lines, you'll feel the grout lines through the loops and backing. I use it simply as a front door entry rug to catch dirt from shoes. It's easy to vacuum but the suction from the vacuum can lift the rug up.

Q: Could this rug be used with a pad on top of carpet?
A: the rug has plastic/rubber backing . if you were putting on top of another rug with a pad in between, it would not lay completely flat.

Q: What is the best way for me to wash this rug?
A: The following sizes 1'8"x2'10", 2'6"x3'10", & 2'x7' runner are machine washable for easy care. Size 4'x5'6" is spot clean and air dry. Thank you.

Q: Just purchased & the background is not cream or ivory, it looks completely different (darker & yellower) than all of the posted pics in the reviews. Did the manufacturer change the dye lots recently?
A: The colors in this rug have not changed. We have checked the inventory and while we realize that images may appear slightly different across different devices, we feel the colors are accurately represented in the photos.
