Q: how do you know what "size" to order? i have never worn reading glasses before.

submitted by molly - 4 years ago
  • A: Molly, Are you referring to the strength of the glasses or the actual physical size? For physical size, you may click on the "see more" button in the details of any listing here at Target.com and see the width of each glass, as well as the length of the temples. With regard to trying to determine your strength, there are numerous pdfs you can download that will help you. You can also test this way with any printed material you may have handy. Just make sure you're about 12-14 inches away from whatever you choose to read and start from the lowest power and move up.

Q: Do these glasses have a good visual quality? ( more so than style... I'm concerned with quality, especially visual)

submitted by PinkFlamingo - 5 years ago
  • A: PinkFlamingo - I think so, I've been wearing/trying on glasses most of my life and they have great clarity as readers. Obviously it's important to get the right diopter for your eyes. If you take care of them in a reasonable fashion they should stay clear for you.

Q: are the lens glass???

submitted by AliciaL - 7 years ago
  • A: No, the lenses are plastic but are pretty tough. I buy these because they last me a long time and I don’t have to go through the expense of buying prescription readers at the same strength. Hope this helped.
