Q: Does the outside case of the heater get hot or is it cool to the touch while it's working?
A: For an adult, the TOUCH may be fine but if ur leg brushes against it, the leg may be more sensitive to the heat.

A: It does have a QUIET MODE--I would say that it is good to use in your office.

A: It does have a blowers to assist in heat circulation, BUT if you lower the temperature to it's lowest temp,, it will give you cool air.

Q: is this heater energy efficient - my last heater, although it works well, is costly to run,
A: All heaters are costly to run, but this one at least has a thermostat to allow to control the temperature better. This is the same as running your hair dryer non-stop.
