I like the look of the curtains and the price was fair, but they are definitely not blackout...more like light filtering. Light still comes through. Disappointed but tired of trying to find anything else.

These are OK. I would not call them "black out" as they are not. I can see the blinds through them (even at night, I can see the shape of the blinds). I also would not call them insulated. I dont feel these will provide any insulation for heat or cold. We actually thought we received the wrong curtains (as they didnt seem insulative or black out) but the product number on the UPC matched. I am using these, but wish I had returned. But we were so desperate for curtains, we could not wait another week. If these were called "room darkening" I would agree. But not black out. They are pretty though. Aesthetics are great, function not so much.

I have these curtains in two different colors, and I love them!!! I would highly recommend you try these. They reduce the light significantly, but you can still see a bit of light where the pattern is, but it’s very minuscule. They just have a classy expensive look for a great price. I also live the fact that they come in pairs. I have the blue, and the tan color in two different room. Considering ordering another color too!

Love these curtains ! Not totally blackout because a little bit of sun peaks thru the seams due to the design . However it works great for me . The design is gorgeous ! So happy with my purchase. I was weary of buying curtains online but I got lucky and found what I was looking for !

I ordered the "Teal" color and they look really good! We have a teal cabinet in our office/kid's craft area that we wanted to coordinate with and these curtains work perfectly. The room we have the curtains in is West facing and I wouldn't say these are "black out" but that's ok for our purposes in this room. If you are looking for true black out, these are not. The teal color is rich and the fabric flows nicely, but I already noticed a couple snags, just from getting it out of the bag/packaging. You can't see the snags unless you examine the curtain carefully. Overall, pretty good for the price, but I wouldn't pay more than this! We'll see how long they last!

I ordered the vanilla pair curtains and they do NOT blackout light. They are completely see thru, I couldn’t even see the pattern because the light coming thru it was so bright. Nice pattern, just does not blackout light.

I purchased these for my drafty windows in my day spa and couldn’t be happier for the price. They are a true light gray with a subtle sheen. I purposely purchased a longer length so they would puddle on the floor, also love the grommets. My window length is an odd size and there is nothing worse than curtains that don’t touch the floor! They also blend well with the gray area rug and silver floor lamp and mirror all purchased at Target.
