Q&A(4)

Q: Directions state to not use more than 3 days. Why? That means the 265 sprays is wasted if you can't go beyond 3 days.

submitted by Customer - 2 years ago
  • A: So, do we use it for 3 days, then stop for 3 days, then use it for 3 days, and so on?

    submitted bycsalem3333 - 1 year ago
  • A: You raise a very good point! Vicks Sinex nasal sprays contain the nasal decongestant active ingredient Oxymetazoline HCl 0.05%. Oxymetazoline is not considered a drug with abuse potential or a controlled substance by the FDA, and is approved as being safe and effective when used as directed. However, prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen. If you’re concerned, we advise that you consult your doctor. Feel free to give us a call as well at (800) 362-1683, and we'll gladly answer any further questions you might have.
