Q: Does this require assembly?

A: It was super easy to build. The only problem I had was that 7 medium-sized screws and 4 little wooden dowels were missing. I found other screws and makeshift dowels in my garage. It turned out nicely.

This bench is sturdy and very aesthetically pleasing. The 'baskets' are actually drawers, and slide smoothly. The bench has a lot of L brackets and is heavy. I found assembly time-consuming but not difficult. I can imagine some may be turned off by the length of time to assemble but the time is worth it! I highly recommend it.

Black fingerprints all over the bench and damages on the top. Had to be returned.
