Gemma Sofa Bed - Christopher Knight Home

I've had these a year this month. These modular units are completely underrated. I've used three to form a sectional. Definitely makes the most of an apartment or any living space. It will take 2 units linked to be usable as a bed for the average person. It is firm but I have crashed out in my living room many times with zero problems. These are not big and bulky furniture items and this is a very good thing when space is a premium. This may be a problem if there is a preference for furniture items that are pillow like in space and comfort. I touch up as needed with hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle because being a lighter any mark will kinda stand out if left without a touch up. These do sit a little low so anybody who may have a disability may need a little assistance standing.

this item was listed at a very reasonable price. it took me less than 15 minutes to assemble and i did it by myself. everything that would be needed to make it is included and it’s a very cute addition to any room.

I bought this oversized "chair" on sale a few years ago, mostly for my kids to use while watching TV and playing video games. The footprint of this chair is fairly large (due to the back part of the platform). I like that the chair is adjustable but honestly never used it as an ottoman. Only a small child could sleep on this. This chair is not comfortable for adults-at all-but would probably be okay for younger kids/tweens (my only worry would be not to have very young kids use this chair and have a mishap and get caught while adjusting it). A good concept but didn't quite deliver.

Was actually a lot bigger than I expected. My main issue is that it came with several blacks stains on the top that aren’t the prettiest. I plan on draping a blanket over the top so it isn’t a huge deal, just disappointing to see.

I needed something small to just be able to sit on while I played video games and this is PERFECT! Small enough to be in a bedroom but large enough for a normal sized or even someone like my dad who is 400+lbs to sit comfortably on. It is firm. I highly recommend.

Perfect little 2 sitter for our reading nook in our playroom.

Very disappointed. It’s called sofa BED. My mistake for not paying attention to measurement. It’s a bed for a dog. If I weren’t looking for a sofa BED I’d keep it because it’s nice. I like that it’s firm. But it’s not even a child’s bed.

Not what I expected. It's just an over sized ottoman. I returned it.

I love it! Super comfy. And easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend. Great for smaller apartments where you need to save space!

Really like for my sitting area in my room. Definitely not big enough for an adult to sleep on, but when flat it’s just a bigger sitting area. My cats love it too, even though it’s not for them

I was a little disappointed with the size as I thought it was the size of a bed. However, once I sat on the couch and realized how comfy it is, I went ordered a second one! When I receive it, I already have the connector attached all I need to do is put on the legs and connect the two. I am very excited to use this sofabed in a spare bedroom for guests and those who want to be alone while watching TV or listening to music. Very pleased with my purchase.

I was very disappointed about the size. It was supposed to be for a guest. If the guest was 2 feet tall.

This should cost half of what the purchase price is. This “sofa” is so small and short, size of a chair and is very uncomfortable. It is cheaply made. This is one of the worst items that I have purchased from target. In no way, should it be referred to as a “sofa”.

It should be known that this is a love seat. Look at the futon on this site for 117, that's a sofa bed. Not this. This is a love seat and it is very small. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially for the price.

Love this. Just the right size and ordered one more to connect to it. Not bad to sit on and looks good.

Horrible. It came damaged and was cheaply made. It looked like a foot stool rather than a futon.

The price was right it was what I was looking for but you get what you paid for. The cushion is not comfy so never mind using it as a sofa bed. The height is lower than what I expected but good for my toddler's playroom. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

I live in a small space so is perfect for me..comfortable to seat in so I recommend it :)

Gave it a 4 because it's a little too small and comes out from the wall too much.

4 stars only reason because it was a little smaller than I expected and I expected it to be small In the first place. Overall is cool and a good fit for a smaller studio apartment. I only needed it for if I have guest over I want somewhere for them to sit. Says it's a 2 person seater but more like one average size male and 2 average size girls if that makes sense. For the price it's a good buy especially if you won't be using it on a day to day basis but more so for a accent
