Misleading photo, I didn't know there would be green apples too. The skin is on as well, which I wasn't expecting but wasn't too bad. I also didn't like the addition of salt and acids, I have tried other freeze dried fruits with just fruit, that tasted better. But these are not too bad if they are on sale or something, and you like green apples.

Worst freeze dried apples I’ve ever had the skin shouldn’t be left on. they’re sour and not a good texture compared to other brands I’ve tried. Will never buy again.

This bag had the production codes/expiration date text scraped away (the matte bag is scrubbed shiny there as you can see in the photo) with a paper label stuck on afterward. The apples are stale/tough. This is really sketchy and this product should not have been sold in this condition. I do not trust the label. I received this bag in a shipped order, and I would not have bought these myself off the shelf. I don't mind the skins and used to be happy with these apples, but the quality has been bad lately (and that goes for some of the other G&G dried fruits, too). They seem old and like they were not freeze-dried properly, all dense and tough instead of airy.

Bought this thinking it would make for a good snack for my toddlers (ages 1 and 3) but the apples have the skin still on, making them a choking hazard. I actually liked the combination of red and green apples for a variety in sweet/sour tastes but wish they had removed the skin.

Bought these because I didn’t feel like going to the grocery store for my usual brand. These are intensely sour like sour candy, no sweetness at all. The label says these have citric acid, ascorbic acid, & salt for “preservatives,” but freeze-dried apples from other brands list apples as the only ingredient with no preservatives. These are far too crunchy, and the skin is left on, gets stuck in your teeth.

OMG THEYRE AMAZING! i tried these blindly about a month or 2 ago and i love them so much! everyone is saying they’re to sour well honestly they’re the best dried fruit on the market that i’ve tired! and im a sour person so i think they’re great! but i just hate how small the bag is! i wish there were bigger bags or maybe the snack sized ones like the dried strawberries! overall my favorite snack!

My toddler loves these freeze dried apples. But the only reason we are giving them 4 stars is due to the fact that they have a red apple on the front of the packaging and with a toddler that’s means they want only red apples. So getting the toddler to eat the green ones can be a struggle but usually once all the red apples are gone. The green ones will finally get eaten.
