Lucid Comfort Collection Gel & Aloe Vera 12" Hybrid Memory Foam Mattress

This was not my first choice of mattress in all honesty. My first choice from a different store was returned in transit. No reason given but it never got here. So I ordered this one and got the 12 inch thickness just as the other mattress was thinking I was getting a more plush mattress. I see the description says a medium firm surface so I really can't complain about how stiff it is. We let it sit on the base a few days before trying it out. My first night on it I was not happy. I felt like there was a bar in my ribs almost but not quite as bad as a sofa sleeper. I finally found a side position where this didn't hurt anymore and actually slept soundly for the most part but I woke up sore. We had some different pads and toppers around the house for smaller beds but I could use them to experiment with. I found a good combination that adds cushion and comfort to this mattress to make it pretty comfortable. So I bought a 1.25 inch foam mattress pad and a 2 inch mattress polyfill topper. to fit the bed. I spent a few nights on the bed with this configuration and could sleep well. This is in a guest room we are trying to set up so it is not going to get regular use. I think we will get good use out of this mattress. I would recommend this mattress with the understanding it is not a plush, pillowtop mattress. It is very firm. But it can be adjusted to fit your own likes fairly easily. It was cheaper than going all out like we did on our main bed and that was our goal.

HORRIBLE bed. Not firm at all and causing SO much body pain. It’s ridiculous. It was decent for about a month and then now it’s horrible it’s sunk it and just not good. Don’t buy

I had received another mattress from this same company and it was way to firm for my liking so I ordered this one. It is definitely more plush and you can feel it shaping to your body. I like it I don’t love it. I wanted a little more plush feeling so I also got a memory foam mattress topper. It’s definitely not super plush it’s ok.

Mattress is indeed memory foam, removed it from package 2 days ago and it is has not inflated to the 12” it’s more like 6”, I would not recommend this mattress there are much cheaper options. Wish I could get my money back to be honest

I've had this mattress for exactly 7 months. It started to break down or have extra soft spots about four months ago. If I sleep in one spot for too long, that spot is permanently soft and no longer offers support. Its also supposed to have cooling technology but every night is so hot. I am 200 pounds so I am admittedly not a light person. So I purposely looked for a mattress that would easily support my body. This isn't it and I already have to find a new mattress.

Arrived in timely manner and actual bed itself was in tact and didn't see any issues with it, however, box arrived very damaged and open completely. Disappointed and hope they change to better quality box in the future for other customers.

Softness and comfort

This is a really nice mattress, very comfy, & even though it will be covered by sheets, it’s really pretty & textured. I knew it would be heavy, but I managed to lug it into my apt & get it onto my bed frame. I didn’t give it 5 stars because when you (carefully) cut open the plastic keeping it rolled up, you have no idea if the visible end is the top or bottom or right side up or upside down. Well, it unrolled backwards & upside down. It start expanding immediately & it was super difficult to reverse & flip over.

Great mattress! Supportive, very comfortable, doesn't have a strong smell when first opened. I bought this mattress for my son to complete his big boy bed and I like it so much I will probably buy another to replace my king tempurpedic. Extremely happy and my son sleeps through the night!

Lots of people was saying it’s amazing and I believe it because my brother got one but it came a little damage but I blame FedEx ground for it if you see what I see in the trucks how the boxes was on top of TV’s and just throwing in there my box was all damage one side of the mattress was damage target told me to keep it or I donated it so I did thank you target for looking out for me to FedEx Ground I am disappointed next time go with UPS

Never bought a mattress in a box before. Didn't know what to expect. Shipping was quick, got it like three days after ordering. Luckily I opened the box in the room i was putting the mattress in, because i opened it it grew quick ! lol This was for my 16 year old, and wow.. what a great mattress. Now my other son wants one, and i think I do too!!

This was our first time buying a matress in a box type product. This mattress was listed as medium but is definitely EXTRA FIRM. Overall, the quality of the mattress is great. I just prefer a medium mattress and felt this was much firmer than advertised. I would be open to trying a different mattress by this company, but am not a fan of this particular one.

Omgsh this is an Amazing Mattress! Best mattress decision ever! (You may need help if you have stairs) otherwise fluffed up immediately after unwrapped. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely love. It’s so comfortable. It heavier then we though but prefect.

I ordered this mattress with express shipping on a Friday morning at 2am. It was scheduled to arrive on Monday which would give me time to move my room around, etc. The mattress arrived SUPER early on Saturday much to my surprise and delight. This gave it time to 'inflate' over the weekend so when the frame I ordered arrived it would be all set! Got the bed all situated finally and oh my god is it comfortable. My last bed was on its last legs with a dip in the mattress and the frame being broken in one spot, and I couldn't help but cry in relief with this new bed and not having to worry subconsciously about any dips in the mattress or a frame breaking. I slept like the dead the first night and woke up with energy I didn't know I could have in the morning. The box is heavy if you get a Queen size, around 100 lbs when it's shipped to you so make sure you have a buddy to carry it. I had the bad luck of living upstairs and having to haul it upstairs lol. Roommate was kind enough to help me thankfully. Overall I highly recommend this brand and this mattress, you will not be disappointed.

Great mattress. Very comfortable. It feels like a standard mattress and provides great support while the memory foam let's you just sink in. I was a bit wary ordering a mattress online without getting to test it first, but I'm glad I did. We opened it about 5 o'clock in the evening. It fluffed up quickly and my daughter was able to sleep on it that night. She loves it!

This matress is so comfortable. And you just cant beat the price. Shipping was really fast as well.
