A: I bought this in store and it goes on really chalky and give me that white armpit look. Maybe i got a bad egg because everyone loves it? I wouldn't buy it again. (in store for about 5 bucks)

To give you a little more detail, Native is a deodorant, and it aims to protect against wetness and prevent odor, it doesn't prevent sweat like antiperspirants. By definition, antiperspirants contain aluminum, which is what prevents sweat by plugging your sweat glands. That said, aluminum is linked to some serious health ramifications, so we think it's important to avoid it!

After using this deodorant for a very long time and turning my daughter and her friends on to it as well.... I STILL love it! I remember when I began with NATIVE they only had plastic packaging and then NATIVE offered cardboard.....I was so excited.... it goes with my lifestyle. The cardboard packaging was inconsistent and when I finally couldn't get the lid off of TWO of my containers, I had to switch back to plastic.... Putting on deodorant took longer with the cardboard and was wayyyyyyyyy more frustrating. I even took to using a knife to shave off the cardboard that would gather at the top of the base and make it impossible to put the top back on without rocking it, and even then, it didn't work. So, for now, I have removed a stress out of my morning routine... and maybe later I will try cardboard again. After using it for years, I had to say goodby. I will still recycle the plastic container. So, I hope they keep working on the cardboard....maybe some sort of sealant at the top of the base so the warmed product after you apply doesn't gob at the top.

I love this deodorant, love the little heart that is stamped on the inside. and all the scents are very fresh and clean. Great product - a little streaky at times but i avoid this by putting some in my hands and letting a little of the oils dissolve before hand.

I recently switched to aluminum free deodorant and this brand/scent (lavendar) has been working great! I do notice the antipersperant is missing... which I understand is a part of the aluminum free switch and will get used to. This deodorant was easy to switch over to and keeps me smelling great throughout the day. If you've been on the fence to try Native, give it a go!

Not sure if it was something specific to this scent or what but it turned the armpits of my white shirts purple when washed and dried. I have used native deodorant before but a different scent and never had this happen.

I use the sensitive Lilac and Cotton and had to switch to this scent because they didn’t have mine in store. I’m sorry to say but this scent quite literally stinks.. it is not long lasting at all. It’s good for about 2 hours of scent control, and then I can smell my B.O. I’m disappointed I spent money on this. I am switching back to Lilac and Cotton.

I like the smell, and other native deodorants seem to work okay for me, but something about this one REALLY doesn't work for me. I'm almost better off not putting on deodorant at all. I swear I smell worse when I wear it after about half an hours than when I don't. It's almost like it triggers something in my sweat glands. It's also weird because as I said, I have used other Native deodorants. It is the brand of choice for my boyfriend and a close friend of ours. But not the lavender rose. It's bad enough that I think I'll be trying to get a refund. I gave it so many chances. Tried applying more. Tried applying less. It just doesn't work.
