The packaging is nice and I appreciate the bag reseals. I will say for the price and size of the bag, I do think there are more affordable options that still have the same effect. The hairball control does work, not perfect but definitely less issues when on this type of food.

As soon as I open the bag, she comes running like it’s a treat! The ingredients are high quality, and I love that it has real meat as the first ingredient. Her coat is shinier, she has more energy, and even the vet commented on how healthy she looks. No more picky eating or leftovers in the bowl—this is a total win in our house. Highly recommend for anyone with a finicky feline!

As soon as I pour it, it’s like a furry free-for-all at the bowl. One morning, Pickle knocked the bag off the counter and sat in it like a throne, refusing to share. It’s helped reduce hairballs and keeps their tummies happy. Though, make sure to follow their guidelines for new food introduction, to ensure you won’t wake up to a messy situation. Safe to say, it’s officially “cat-approved” in this house.

Pretty good about the hairballs haven’t had any trouble. Smells decent enough and not stinky like most dry cat food. Packaging is nice and easy to store, didn’t rip easy or anything while opening had to use scissors. Overall solid for the cats they enjoy the flavor and it’s like a kibble!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blue Wilderness cat food was not well received by Chloe. She turned up her nose to it but did eventually eat. Now however (half a bag in) she can't wait for feeding time. She is a VERY active cat and this food seems to balance out her weight and keep her full of energy. She has had no issues with hairballs while on this food. The bag it is packaged in has a kind of annoying shape. I am a cut the corner off and pour kind of guy...the construction of this bag does not allow for that. The shape of the food was also new to me but seems to be easy for her to eat.

She’s usually picky, but she eats this without hesitation. I noticed she’s had fewer hairballs lately, which is a big plus! So when my humans introduced Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Indoor Hairball Control Chicken & Brown Rice, I gave it my usual sniff test… and then immediately devoured it like I hadn’t eaten in nine lives! The flavor? Absolutely divine. Real chicken is the first ingredient, and believe me, I can tell. None of that mystery meat nonsense. Just pure, savory deliciousness that makes me do a happy tail swish with every bite. The brown rice gives it that hearty finish, like a gourmet chef made it just for me. And let’s talk about the real magic: no more hairballs. I used to hack up those pesky things like I was auditioning for a horror movie. But since I started on Tastefuls, my humans and I have both been living a much cleaner, less gross life. My fur feels luxurious, and I spend more time lounging in the sun like the majestic creature I am—not choking on fur. Bonus? No artificial flavors, preservatives, or chicken by-product meals. I really love it because it has real ingredients and our vet has told us that cats need less processed food. I have always wanted to give my cats Blue Buffalo brand food, but it always seemed too expensive. But for some reason this particular line seems very affordable and I can get it where I normally shop. The only downside to this is that I cannot accurately say if it helps with hairballs. I have a cat with extreme stomach/hairball issues and it’s hard to tell if this food helped her or not because her hairballs are so frequent. For her, some months are just naturally better than others so I cannot tell if it was food or just a good month for her. But I would definitely give this a try if you have a cat with hairball issues! But remember; don’t switch their food cold Turkey; you need to gradually mix it in with their old food or you risk a diarrhea extravaganza!

The bag has a resealable lock so doesn't spill out or get old quickly. So far I have not seen and throw up. I like that its has natural ingredients.
