Q&A(4)

Q: Would this be good for trad goth makeup?

submitted by Mars - 5 months ago
  • A: Thank you for your question! Our L.A. Girl Pro Mixing Pigments are designed to color correct and adjust foundation undertones, but they are pigmented and can also be applied directly for a subtle tint that can be built up in layers. We’ve seen so many creative and inspiring looks on social media using these pigments in unique ways. -L.A. Girl Team

Q: Is there one to make light foundations dark? Like the opposite of the white one?

submitted by Riah - 4 years ago
  • A: Hello and thank you for your question! The other color mixing shades we have available are more for shifting the undertone vs. making foundation shade darker. In most cases orange will shift the foundation shade to become a more warmer tone. If you are looking for a more warmer shift, we will suggest adding a pump of the L.A. Girl Orange Color Mixer to your foundation. Yellow – shifts your foundation to a golden undertone. Orange – shifts foundation to a warmer undertone, ideal for medium to dark shades. Blue - Neutralizes foundation. If your foundation is too warm or orange looking, add a little blue to bring it back to a neutral undertone. L.A. Girl Team

Q: The listing for "white" has pictures of the blue pigment and the listing for "blue" has pictures of the white pigment. Which is correct? If I want to receive the white pigment, which one should I be ordering?

  • A: Thanks for shopping L.A. Girl! We apologize if you are having any trouble, we know that can be frustrating. We suggest you try refreshing your browser, this will usually resolve any glitches in the system. Once you refreshed select your item and add it to your cart. You should be able to verify the shade once it is in the cart. It should read "L.A. Girl Pro Matte Mixing Pigment Foundation - White - 1" as the description. Hopefully, this helps and you can proceed with your purchase. If you have any more trouble please feel free to reach out again. We are always happy to assist and thanks again for shopping L.A. Girl Cosmetics. We hope you love our mixing pigment as much as we do!
