Terrific comfort dressed in modern style defines the Calista bar stool. Made in Malaysia, the Calista is constructed from wood in a classic square frame. The bar stool is fitted with a foam-padded seat underneath a soft layer of fabric and features a striking cut-out design on its back. This piece requires assembly and is finished in a warm walnut brown that complements the light tones of the fabric. Sturdy silver metal is fitted on the front footrest, making the Calista bar stool well suited for both commercial and residential settings. So very disappointed. Ordered these for my sons apartment. Left them in the box until we moved. When opened the box - was pleasantly surprised at how nice they looked . . . But OMG - when we started assembling them (1) instructions were horrible (2) the Allen wrench provided was absolutely the most inadequate size and took forever to get the screws to fit, (3) the wood was split in the top of the chairs (not a deal killer as it wasn’t too noticeable- so we proceeded on), (4) the support bars at the base of the chair had inset pieces that broke off when we were putting together, and (5) the back side of the chair was completely broken. We put the seats on and that somewhat supported the broken back. Had no time to return the chairs - would have if I could have. These will be pitched in the dumpster! I am so disappointed with the quality of these stools. Please beware before you purchase these - they look really nice on the website- and are a good price - but they are very inferior quality - I guess you get what you pay for.

I loved these chairs. When I started to put them together, one of the holes was not drilled into the piece I needed to connect to another piece. I called target and they sent me a replacement piece right away.
