Very bad quality- its as bad as 2 of my family members felt over while sitting on the chair, the base comes off as well as the back broke on two of them. Never buy from armen living - all of their stuff is like that- very bad experience

The item is well made and looks way more luxurious than its price tag. This is one of the few items I feel sad to return. If I can keep it, I’d would. The main part of the chair is solid wood and is very sturdy. The seat padding is nice and thick but the bottom of the seat is made out of particle board. When you put this together, you need to use the 2 screws( included) to attach the seat frame with the padding. Once you screw it in, it secures for a min or 2 but once you try to lift this chair with minimal force, the padding comes right off. I hope this is making sense but basically things that are made out of particle board, but the screws may not stay in place. I would get this item if you are just staging the chair. It looks great. If you are using it for daily use, it will not feel great to have a seat padding that moves around
