Q: Is it safe to drink from mercury glass? I have only seen it used in decorative pieces.

A: The technique used to make the Athena Bath Collection gives it the look of mercury glass but it does not actually contain mercury so it is safe to drink from.

I loved this dispenser but when I went to rinse it out before adding more soap, the film on the interior sloughed off. Very disappointing.

I truly love this beautiful set. It's so elegant and stylish, and complements any bathroom décor. I've paired it with my teal greenish-blue tissue cover, paper towel dispenser, trash can, shower curtain and window curtains. In fact, I love it so much, I ordered the cotton ball container and an extra lotion pump for my lotion. The one with the set is used for my liquid hand soap.
