    Arrived quick. Has a slight smell when first opened, but Im sure will subside over time. It is a charcoal gray color with silver shine that gives it a "glam" look. Texture is not like a "fur" or silky, but more long threads. No padding or cushion within rug. Seem to be more for the look, not comfort. Not sure if the opinional padding for non slip will help with cushioning. Currently I dont not have any non slip, bit seems to stay in place well.

    The rug itselt is nice, but it wasnt very clean. When I took it out of the plastic wrap and layed it out it had a few stains on it. Needless to say I was/am not happy about that.

    This is not the rug for you if you have children. It looks fabulous on the ground, but that’s about it. It doesn’t have much cushion and isn’t comfortable to sit on. The rug is so shaggy that I can’t even properly vacuum it with my Dyson. I have a toddler who spills snacks all day long and even after vacuuming I’m finding the food embedded in the carpet.

    I really like the quality of the rug. It’s very well made and looks great, BUT it definitely needs a felt rug pad or some other type of padding to make it “cush” under your feet. The shag itself is soft and luscious but the backing is hard.
