Men's Harry Potter Bellatrix Wanted Poster T-Shirt

My husband has the same shirt but with Sirius Black so I got this to match him at universal studios and got lots of compliments. It fits nice and breathable material. ONLY reason it didn’t get a five is towards the bottom of the shirt the small writing is very hard to read as it is very blurred but no one would notice when you wear it. Would I buy it again? YES!

I was excited to find HP officially licensed merchandise outside of Harry Potter/Warner Bros. merchandise stores. Usually those stores don’t have sales but at least Target does! I don’t recall seeing this exact design Tshirt in the official HP store in New York City, but the Wanted poster that is the basis of design was sold in the store on other type of things (greeting card, journal cover, etc.) Let me start by saying that as an adult female, I have to sometimes shop in the Men’s section for fan merch because the Women’s section usually doesn’t have a large selection of interesting graphic tees. They tend to focus on “cutesy” graphics or designs; if you’re not feeling the least bit girly then you’re out of luck. Also, it would be nice if “baby” style cuts were not the norm; some of us want decent coverage on the sleeves. Never having ordered from Fifth Sun before, I was a little nervous but just followed their size chart (which I consider accurate!). I am a size 42 inch bust, so I chose size L (based on the body width stated 22” x 2 front/back = 44’’ total width coverage) — size L fits me perfectly!! Not tight so it feels uncomfortable or stiff, nor too loose so that it looks baggy in the slightest. (For reference: I am M or L in Unisex Tshirts, and size L in women’s Tshirts)… The length is comfortable as it reaches my hips on my 5’6’’ frame. The sleeves are perfect on my upper arms; hits in the middle and not anywhere close to the elbows as some Unisex T-shirts do… Fifth Sun stated in the item description section to “size up” because other customers complained the sizing was on the smaller side. I ignored that and so glad I did!!! 👍🏼 The actual shirt manufacturer is Zuni sportswear. Material is good, comfortable. Would describe as light-medium weight cotton. Soft and on the thinner side for warm weather wearing. You might be able to wash this and not have to use fabric softener. 👍🏼 The major complaint I have and the reason why I will return my purchase is due to the screen printing. Basically, the most important part of this T-shirt! If you don’t care to be able to read the all the details of the Bellatrix Wanted Poster then you may not have a problem. But I was disappointed that the only words I could clearly read were the biggest or boldest in typeface (“Wanted: Bellatrix Lestrange”, “Approach with Extreme Caution”, “Reward”). The three Bellatrix mugshot photos are also highly disappointing as the finer details do not appear to have been captured in the printing process (ex: sample photo from Fifth Sun/Target shows that you can see the curliness of her hair through squiggles printed in white ink, but on my shirt received her hair is just swallowed up by black). The two lines of text in between the mugshots and “Approach with Caution” — I can see there is a consistent pattern with some letters not showing up clearly: S, T, B. It seems these letters needed more ink on the “screen-printing press”!! The very narrow lettering below “Approach with Extreme Caution” is a complete eyesore and don’t even waste your time deciphering. Below “Reward”, again entire letters were not printed like S and T. The Ministry of Magic director’s signature should be to the right of the Reward statement but on my shirt it is not visible, you can barely make it out that something ought to be there at all. 😭👎🏼 I understand the nature of the design itself was some degree of non-clarity. But the quality of this shirt is not satisfactory and I wonder how good their quality assurance process is. I would not consider myself a die-hard HP fan but I am someone who appreciates “the little details”. I am probably better off looking for this shirt someplace else in person versus online… I recommend to give this item a chance — if you don’t mind that a return process may be in your future. Also recommend to read and understand the Return Policy and Return Deadlines.
