Q: Is the height adjustable? The photos show 2 different shade heights, but there is no obvious way to change the height on the item.

Adequate mid century lamp. The shade is a fantastic beige color that makes the lighting less harsh than the common white shades. The base is a gray ceramic disc shape that looks nice at a distance, but closer inspection the supporting wood on the bottom appears cheaply made. Overall, the lamp is well made but the wood on the base throws the look off a tad. For the $40 you can’t really pas on it as it should give one years of enjoyment.
