Q: Is this bed compatible with an adjustable base?

A: We do not recommend the use of a platform bed; however, Skyline standard beds can be used with adjustable bases if the adjustable base can fit fully inside our frame. There are metal corners that are necessary to the construction of our frame and cannot be removed. They sit at 6” above the ground. The adjustable base must fit with these corners.

The bed, while beautiful, pretty immediatley broke. I've had this in a guest bedroom, so it's only been slept on like 5 times in the past few months. Unfortunately I'm outside my return window, but the screws bent completely where the middle legs attach to the bed and now this bed sags horribly in the middle as a result. It won't let me upload photos, but literally it's so bad and so incredibly bent - I'm goint to either have to reinforce this myself with higher quality wood blocks as center stabilizers, or order a whole new bed entirely - which is horrible. In the words of Tyra Banks "It's so bad I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible, so I give it a 1"

Love my new bed! Was pleasantly surprised that the headboard was higher than indicated in the description, it measures over 50in in height with options to lower or make taller. Overall, very happy with the look and quality.
