The TV Stand is beautiful and sturdy. But the item came with two scratches, one of which is a little long on the top surface. It took our 2 hours to assemble it. So we don't like a hassle of replacement.

I love this TV stand. Took me 3 hours to put together, very good quality and heavy. Instructions was a little confusing at certain times so just take your time. I have had this for about 3 months now and I’m still getting a stain smell from the tv stand. Trying to find a way to get rid of the smell. Other then the smell of the stand lingering for months ... everything else is great. It is def a darker walnut color. Lightens up a little when the room has natural light shining through. It does sit very low as well

Very, very good quality. I have assembled a LOT of ready-to-assemble furniture in my life, and this was the best assembly experience. Most of the pieces were already put together! They even pre-installed the drawer slides (always the biggest pain because it affects how the drawers level). It was packaged very carefully and cleverly to make it as flat as possible with as much pre-assembly as possible. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble on my own, not including unboxing time. I will say that the instructions could have been better for people who aren't used to assembling furniture. Because there are limited assembly steps, this isn't a huge deal even for people who aren't familiar with it, but it would make it easier if the instructions were just a little more detailed. It's very heavy and sturdy. The wood is strong (I had to drill holes into the back of the top in order to secure the tv to it and it took some doing even with a power drill). The piece looks really great and the exterior finish looks so nice; it does not look like standard cheap RTA. There were no flaws or damages to any of the pieces. There was a strong odor of paint or something similar when first unboxed, but that faded quickly and was gone before I finished assembling it. I'm so happy I found this. I've returned several other tv stands because the quality was unbelievably terrible. This stand is well worth the extra $100 or so.

Love the look. Exactly what I was looking for. Took a while to put together but came out beautifully. Very sturdy. Product is 5 stars but had a shipping snag so I'm giving it 4 stars.

Really debated on giving this 4 or 5 stars. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars was a little damage on one piece and it is about 3 hour assembly time for me. That being said, it had the most organized parts i have seen, with good instructions. The drawer guides were already put on, saving time. This is a heavyweight piece, not cheap MFD particleboard. It looks really nice. It is a very dark walnut sort of color. I would buy SimpliHome products again.

Good wood, received with only a small bit of damage (one edge looked like it got knocked by something and rubbed off the finish). Difficult to say when the damage occurred as the packaging is actually pretty good, strong corners and lots of foam. So it may have occurred during packaging. The bottoms of the drawers are using a pretty thin particle like board, the positive though is that its stained to match the rest of the unit, and it fits well. Putting it together wasn't too difficult, took me about 2 hours by myself. Its heavy wood though, take your time. One recommendation when it comes to the hex screws, pre-screw them in a little on the board that is receiving the screw, so when you actually attach it you can hand screw it in a little making it easier to initially attach, then tighten completely with the provided tool. I put it together by myself except for the last panel (on the back) I needed someone to just hold it in place so I could put some tape on it to hold it still while I screwed in the back board. The back board is made of the same sort of thinner board as the bottoms of the drawers. Overall pretty dang nice, it even has sort of a 'leather' smell, I imagine it comes from the finish on the wood. They even include a whole bag of extra hardware just in case some of the hardware is bad. (A couple of my hex screws had bad tops, such that the tool would just spin loosely). I think it could have been made better with a slow close track, right now it just slides closed. The color is great as well. hope this helps someone.

A solid, sturdy piece. Just what were were looking for. Took 3 hours to assemble due to 1 piece not being labeled/described properly, requiring me to take it apart, turn the piece around and put it back together. Now that it's all done I love it!

This tv stand looks amazing. Even better in person. However there was a lot of damage, and I'm not sure whether or not I should return it. Took a lot of time and a lot of screws, and I dread having to take it apart. I LOVE the look of it. I'm just very disappointed it came so damaged.
