Smells like Fish

I bought two of these for my partner and I. One of them, when I removed it from the plastic wrap after I received it, smelled like rotten fish! Literally like fish. No exaggeration. The other one was fine, didn’t smell unusual or anything. Why does one of them smell like fish?! It’s revolting how strong the smell is. Can’t attest to the quality yet, hopefully the smell washes out. But buyer beware

much nicer than expected. good weight and feels absorbent. shrunk a little after the first wash and a few loose threads but overall seems like a great robe.

Beware this quality robe comes with an awful smell!

Quality Robe Awful Smell - 4 years ago
Beware the robe has an awful mildew smell! I really liked the quality of the robe for winter, so I washed the robe in vinegar / cold water, then washed the robe in hot water / detergent, and then dried it in a very hot dryer! Finally the smell is gone except in the pockets. Next time I'll put detergent in the pockets. Also the Medium is very large so I'm glad it shrunk and now it's a Large to XL for Woman.

Don't order "coral"

I ordered Coral - well, it was NOT coral. More like burnt sienna. Not a nice color. I did not even take it out of the package and returned it right away.
