A: Great questions! On heavy days we recommend using it as a backup to tampons or pads. On light days, you can wear it by itself. A three-pack should get you started on the right foot!

I really wanted to like these, as I’ve been looking for a new brand of period underwear. These are well made and seem high quality, and work well in terms of absorption, so two stars there. I however didn’t like how thick these felt, and the panties were so stiff it was uncomfortable. I normally wear a medium (size 8) and had to size up, as there isn’t much stretch to the banded areas. This is an alright product bc it’s well made and seems to work, but it’s definitely not for me! Will be continuing to look for something better.

Medium is supposed to fit size 6-8, and I normally wear a 6, but it was too tight on my thighs. I didn't keep, so I can't comment on how well they worked. Otherwise the fabric seemed higher quality than the proof. brand I also tried.

I have 10 pairs of Cora period underwear I have two of the Cora sleep shorts which features a floating gusset which is amazing for sleep. I get full coverage. I have the Cora briefs I have 8 pairs in small, medium and large and X-Large. My weight fluctuates a lot but I wear the small, medium and larges just fine right now they give me great coverage. I don’t leak I can tell they are full when the outside of the gusset near the legs starts looking wet then I know I have to change these period panties. These fit me so amazing. I really love Cora because they are cotton and they are great value for the money. I appreciate target for carrying a sustainable product. I pair these panties with my flex menstrual cup.

Period underwear is the best!! These period underwear are a bit big. I wear a size 2 in jeans and purchased a small in these and I’m just not a large underwear kind of gal, but despite that, these are still so so comfy! And they really aren’t bulky like pads at all. They really make my period suck a heck of a lot less. I like to pair them with the L. Organic period liners and I feel super secure knowing I don’t have to worry about leaks. After having babies, tampons caused a lot more discomfort and cramping. Since switching to these period underwear, my pain during periods has significantly decreased. I can always tell the difference when I switch back to tampons for any reason. These panties are a bright spot in my period and I 100% recommend them.

These are pretty good, but the absorbent part could be a little better shaped and the undies do grow over the course of wearing them. For those reasons I have removed a star. I’m 5’5” and 125lbs and I typically wear a 26 in pants so I tried the XS and S. The XS were tight on the leg area but the S once they’re on the butt section that isn’t the absorbent section grows and it feels like a saggy diaper. I typically just wear these to bed. The cut is pretty much conservative too, not like the bikini underwear I’m used to buying. The material is nice enough but is not luxury and for the price it should be a little nicer imo. I will continue to wear them but I am trying other brands. I will say in comparison the padding here seems more heavy duty than others I’ve received. I’d recommend these but be sure the butt part fits TIGHT when you try them on.

I have 4 pairs of these and love them. They're comfortable, wear well under clothing, don't leak, wash well and don't seem to contain harmful chemicals like some other brands. I keep getting excited every time I see a promo offered for them, as I'd like to purchase more, however, it never actually applies. The promos for Cora and for this specific item always only apply to products than be purchased in stores and this item only available online, so why even tease a promo for a product that it doesn't apply to? The false advertising is honestly a turn off and has me looking elsewhere for period undies in spite of the fact that I do really like these.

I was super bummed since I’ve always loved every Cora product I’ve purchased. This was basically like sitting in a paper plate the crotch was soooo stiff I couldn’t even wear them. I purchased the rael ones from target and they are much more comfortable.

As other reviews stated, the legs are rather tight. They leave an unattractive indent that you can clearly see through any pants. I would not wear these out of the house, which is really unfortunate because I love the idea of them. They are also kind of diaper-like. It feels like a pad at times, which defeats the purpose. I’m normally a medium, but sized up to a large after reading reviews. I highly recommend sizing up. These would be best worn at night, as opposed to during the day. I found other similar products at a more reasonable price point, but decided to go with these, as they seemed to have good reviews. I wish I would’ve given the others a chance before spending more. Quality of the underwear are great, they are a thick material and it seems they would hold up for some time, but I’m still wishing Cora would change my mind about this product, but I’m just not in love with them.

I will probably wear these as a back up for tampons or cup. And for the light day(s) when it's almost over but you still use a product "just in case." The pad is a little off, it is slightly visible from the front, so I am not sure that I'd wear it with leggings. The padded portion ends a little early in the back so it would leak easily when sitting or sleeping, on moderate days (see photo by other reviewer of a leak at work). I ordered a few washable pads too when I ordered these and I definitely felt less symptoms of period discomfort versus using disposable products. So, I do plan on buying more reusable products to include another pair or two of these underwear.
