Saro Lifestyle Everyday Hemstitched Runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well made, traditional, ivory runner with strips of metallic gold throughout. The laser cutting is a nice detail. For me personally, I only use this for holidays. It’s a little to glitzy for everyday.

Pictures do not do this pattern justice. It has a very slight shimmer in the pattern. Perfect for any home decor! Extremely well made!

The texture is beautiful, with tiny stitches of gold in the fabric that gives it an illusion of sparkling. I can wait to use this during the holidays…It adds to perfect accent to your table without being too much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This table runner adds some sophistication and protection to a dining table. The neutral color means it can be used alone or layered with other table linens. The metallic gold thread in the table runner adds some glimmer and elevates the neutral colored table runner. Both sides of the tablecloth are the same fabric, which means it is easy to use the other side if one side gets stained. It is made of polyester fabric so it won’t shrink and require as much ironing as cotton or linen. Unfortunately, the hemstitch design is not the traditional hemstitch design I was expecting. Instead of being part of the weave in the fabric or created by machine with thread, the hemstitch is instead tiny rectangles laser cut or punched out of the fabric and then heat sealed to prevent unraveling. This creates a rough and scratchy feeling all around the hemstitch. I wouldn’t wash it with delicate table linens in fear that it would scratch other fabrics. The hemstitch does add a bit of interest and detail to the table runner and since it is in the center of the table, it won’t be touched often enough to be too annoying. This table runner would work in both a casual and more festive or formal dining table. It is a nice looking table runner but not for me due to this particular construction of the hemstitch design.
