Q&A(4)
Q: How are all these ingredients in here when you’re not supposed to use some of these ingredients together … salicylic acid and retinol. ?
A: Hello! Thank you for your question and for taking a closer look at our Tea Tree Super Serum! You’re absolutely right that certain skincare ingredients, such as salicylic acid and retinol, are often used separately because they can be quite potent, potentially leading to skin irritation. The key difference here is formulation. In a well-designed formulation like our Tea Tree Super Serum, these ingredients are carefully balanced in a way that minimizes potential irritation while maximizing benefits. Our formulation team takes great care to ensure that all ingredients work harmoniously together, with careful concentration adjustments to ensure a balance of efficacy and gentleness, while supporting them with soothing and hydrating ingredients like aloe vera, squalane, and hyaluronic acid. Essentially, think of it like a beautifully orchestrated symphony—each ingredient plays its part without overpowering the others. With a serum like this, you get the best of both worlds: exfoliation from salicylic acid and rejuvenation from retinol, all while your skin stays hydrated and happy. Yes, this is a robust formula, and we assure you that each ingredient has been thoughtfully chosen for its unique properties, working complementary to each other to target multiple skin concerns like blemishes, uneven texture, fine lines, and hydration. Since all skin types are unique, we recommend starting slow—start the serum 1 - 2 nights and gradually increase up to 2 – 3 nights a week as your skin adjusts. For added reassurance, please perform a patch test by applying the serum to a small area of your arm, or neck 24–48 hours before incorporating it into your routine. /TruSkin Brand Team/

Q: Can I use this with adeplane?
A: Thanks for your question! Since adapalene is a form of retinol we do not recommend using it along with Tea Tree Super Serum+ because it also contains retinol. We suggest using just one retinol product 2-3 times a week. Be sure to apply sunscreen during the day when using any retinol product.

Q: Is this a spot treatment or does it go all over my face?
A: Great question! This serum can be used as a spot treatment or applied all over the face and neck. We not only included tea tree essential oil and salicylic acid to address acne related concerns, but this formula is also packed with organic aloe, vitamin C, retinol (vitamin A), niacinamide (vitamin B3) and hyaluronic acid aimed at supporting overall skin health. We recommend applying this serum just 2-3 nights a week. Be sure to apply a sunscreen daily when using any product containing retinol.
