Down Illusion All Season Down Alternative Comforter - Serta

I’ve had this for a year and it’s so beautiful definitely my favorite from any other I have purchased anywhere else. Even my twin niece and nephew who are babies absolutely love sleeping on this when they come over

Great comforter, very soft and warm. Not too heavy feeling either. I wish it came in other colors than white, as it gets dirty so easily. It feels like you have a cloud on you!

I really enjoy this comforter. It felt like sleeping with a cloud. It's nice and thick, stays really fluffy feeling, it's very warm yet breathable.

The quality of the material is great. It’s the perfect amount of squishy loft. BUT I sweat nearly every night. Our whole purpose for buying this was to have a comfy comforter that had a cooling effect or at least wasn’t too heavy for the summer. This one is neither of those. :(

This Serta Down Illusion Down Alternative All Season Queen Comforter is great all year around. It's so soft & fluffy. Very warm. Love white color. Love benefits this Serta comforter has. Odor Technology, which protects from odor causing bacteria. Allergen barrier, which protects from allergies. It's luxurious & has good polyester fill. Very comfortable. So smooth. Fits well around my queen sized bed. Love it.

I have yet to put a duvet cover on it because it just feels so soft and smooth against my skin that it would be a shame to cover it! I am a very hot sleeper and I am never overheated while using this comforter. I am very much looking forward to the summer months when I can tryout this comforter and see how well it keeps me cool while being completely covered.

I stay cold and it keeps me warm and cozy. My husband is always hot so it’s a bit too warm for him, but I love it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I think for summer it might be too much though.

First of all, this is the most comfortable comforter I've ever owned. It's very fluffy and keeps me warm, and just love it! I'm not sure if it will be too heavy for warmer months yet, as I've only used it for Winter so far. Wash on gentle cycle, in a bigger washer with plenty of room. Your dryer will need to have plenty of room as comforter is very fluffy.

We decided to buy a queen mattress and needed a comforter to go with it. This Serta Down Illusion Year-round comforter fit perfectly! It’s a great value and is large and fluffy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Serta Down Illusion - Down Alternative - All Season Comforter (Full/Queen) [ Pros ] + Soft and fluffy + Lightweight + Not too thick + Warms up quickly + Keeps warm without additional blankets + Has corner loops to secure duvet on [ Cons ] - White color is just BEGGING to get stained - Too light for those that prefer heavy/weighted blankets - Too thick for those that prefer thinner blankets - Will be hard to stuff bag into the zipper bag for storage [ Review ] We tested this Serta Down Illusion All Down Alternative Season Comforter with a clipless duvet cover (secured with safety pins) during winter (which is right now) in the Midwest (there's snow outside) with the furnace running (around 68 F, but the bedrooms are way colder). Normally I prefer to fully test it out before reviewing, but I have to write this up within a limited time frame that doesn't include the other three seasons. My initial impression upon touching the comforter is... OMG so squishy soft. Is this actually a plush animal--er, cloud?! *daydreams* Anyway, I tested it very briefly because I prefer thin heavy blankets. To me, this felt super lightweight and super fluffy. Possibly comfy, but I was sweaty and wearing jeans at the time, so comfort didn't cross my mind. My mother was next to test it (and in her PJs). Like me, she prefer heavier blankets. She didn't use the comforter long before getting up to switch back to her old blankets. According to her, the comforter got bigger and heavier the longer she was under it. So, expect the comforter to continue expanding (and fluffing itself) HOURS after being freed from the confines of its bag. My mother also found it hard to turn in bed--which is the deal breaker for her--but this is probably because the comforter is full/queen size and her bed is twin size. One pro she mentioned is how she quickly warmed up under it. Lastly, my brother tested this comforter. His words the next morning after using it all night: "I felt like a marshmallow!" That's right. The comforter was so soft and fluffy that he described it as a marshmallow, not clouds. (Thankfully we have the duvet cover on, otherwise he surely would somehow stain it over time and call it a toasted marshmallow.) To him, the comforter is light, comfy, and kept him warm. Compared to his winter "man" blankets--which I think are fleece--this comforter kept him warmer than those. He is also using a twin size bed, but did not find any trouble turning like our mother did. (He's way bigger than our mother and known for blankets magically ending up on the floor the next morning.) TL;DR: If you like light and fluffy marshmallow softness in your blankets for the cold winter nights, the Serta Down Illusion Down Alternative All Season Comforter is sure to put a smile on your face. (Too bad it doesn't smell like marshmallows...) But with how well it retains heat in the winter, it might be too hot in the summer (unless the AC is set to frigid temps).
