Q: The description says the width is 42"; is that with the door open or is that the width of the top surface?

A: Hello, there is an error with the assembled dimensions, which we will get corrected. The correct dimensions are: 17.25 inches W x 14 inches D x 24.25 inches H. The WxD represents the table top as that is the widest part. The cabinet interior is 14 W X 11.75 D x 9.5 H. We hope this helps. Thank you.

Horrid design. Screws not long enough to fasten wood, plastic dowels that have to be hammered in, and a visible plastic piece on both sides.

very cute, looks like the picture. using for my 13 year old night stand. you have to look very carefully at the instructions but I figured it out, took about an hour. be careful putting the door on, I accidentally put the top part of the door into extra holes instead of the hole it was meant for and I had to break the piece to get it off. luckily there was an extra piece in the box so I could reinstall it. feels pretty sturdy for the price.

Purchased 2 of these tables and had to return both. The pre-drilled holes did not line up on either, so it could not be assembled.

It was not that easy to put together. The numbers on the parts that had numbers helped but some numbers were not clear and the pictures and directions were not clear at all. Not all the holes were drilled in the right places. Some parts of the table were scratched. It took over an hour to bulid. The door closes weird. But I got it for a good price so the table has that going for it.
