Arrived with two chips in it and a few missing screws. We had some screws on hand and got lucky that the chips aren’t really visible. A little bit difficult to understand the instructions at times but not terrible. Lots of storage space and looks great! Only thing I don’t like is the mechanism that keeps the doors from dropping to the floor. It gets in the way a little bit with the storage area.

Too many pieces with minimal instructions

I have never written a review before but I felt that it was incredibly appropriate for this item. The piece is not worth purchasing. the entire this is very confusing to build and the instructions are not helpful. Moreover the screws and pre drilled holes on the furniture is placed in the wrong spot. The doors on the stand do not stay shut because the clasp which holds the door shut is in the wrong spot (again pre drilled). Do not waste your time or money purchasing this time. It was the worst purchase I have ever made and after spending 4 hours building it i realized the door will never stay shut and the stand does not look correct because the pieces are not properly aligning. I would highly recommend that you do NOT waste your money purchasing this. I threw the entire stand out 2 weeks after purchasing because it was just not in working form.

Not one to normally take the time to review a product, but we were tremendously disappointed with the purchase of this tv stand. We weren't able to set up the unit with the provided items due to misalignment of the pre-drilled dowel and screw holes. The included instructions were vague and misleading. Our whole piece just doesn't fit together well even while supposedly set up. We were actually surprised Target sold this item, but haven't bought larger furniture items from target before.. who knows.. The unit seems to be of appropriate quality for the price were it able to be set up without a team of NASA engineers.. try something else or

I love the finished product. Considering the low price, it is well worth the effort and time to assemble, if you have a little skill with a drill, time and patience. My assembly time: 7 hours. I bought the product because it matched my particular height restrictions and looked good, despite the warnings about difficult assembly. Be prepared! This unit takes a long time to assemble and it really helps if you have the ability to drill pilot holes deep enough for the screws without drilling through the other side of the laminated board. The manufacturer drilled marks where each screw goes; however, these marks aren't deep enough to get the screws started in easily. It's extremely difficult to get the screws started without pilot holes. The particle board puckers and flakes away. I chose a drill bit narrower than the screw threads but almost as wide as the screw core. Then I held the screw against the bit and marked the maximum depth with masking tape. Then before assembly, I very carefully drilled pilot holes at every single screw location. Other tips: - You need two spaces: one to break down the packaging and inspect pieces, and a second area for assembly. - Most of the wood laminate pieces are stamped with a red ink number on one edge. Look for these during inspection. - Read all instructions first and drill all pilot holes before assembly. - In step 3 of instructions, disassemble the stretch pins and install the round parts on divider panel (4). Easier to do here than later in step 8. - In step 6, either the instructions are wrong or my side panels (6,7) were mis-labeled. I suspect the latter. If the holes don't seem to line up with the pins, try swapping sides. It did the trick in my case after I fumbled around in this step for close to an hour and did a little damage in the process. - I cheated and did not use glue on the dowels. I'm not convinced the glue would have added much integrity and the assembled unit seems to be sturdy enough. But then, my 65" OLED TV is wall mounted, so I don't have to worry about the table supporting expensive, heavy loads. - In step 8, I had to back out the hinge screws just a bit in order to get the doors to stay closed.
