When the record reaches its end, tone arm will stop at the center of the record and you must lift and return the tone arm to the tone arm rest manually. Q: When playing 45 rpm records, do I have to change the record manually after each record or can I play multiple records without getting up to change to the next one?

A: Hello, The Victrola Empire can only connect to Bluetooth via phone or other device (Bluetooth-in). It cannot connect to an external Bluetooth speaker (Bluetooth-out).

A: The Victrola Empire has Bluetooth-IN, meaning a phone can connect to it and use its speakers. The Victrola Empire cannot connect as Bluetooth-Out to external speakers. Thank you, Victrola Customer Service

I went from Denon surround sound to Victrola for reasons of downsizing our home. I found the sacrifice of sound quality unbearable. After a bit of research though, I purchased a small, inexpensive pre amp with tone control and ran it through a pair of AR bookshelf speakers and now it sounds amazing. I have 0 complaints about the unit itself and its features, outside of the speaker quality, but for the money, it definitely fits my needs and is stylishly well made.

It's pretty and plays well however I feel like my unit plays 33 a bit slower than it should. Also, the speakers are good but not loud enough so now I have to buy speakers which I didn't want to do. CDs play wonderfully and it's nice to have a radio in the house again.

Record player doesn't work as well as it should. I have another player so I was able to check against it. Even brand new records were skipping on this unit. Radio, Cassette and CD play fine. It looks beautiful. If I didn't have the second record player I would have returned it. Keeping it for the vintage vibe and other devices.

Great retro player, love the fact it's 6-in-1 for playing methods. I have tape, CDs, vinyls, and more modern Bluetooth of course. Bluetooth range is a little short, started to cut out when I walked to our kitchen from the living room area (where speaker placed). The audio quality is decent for the price.

Good item fort he cost. Really for general use. Should be clearly stated it does not have preamp. Also, the needle placement lever should be larger because the present size makes it difficult to easily use.

This Victrola unit looks really nice and seems solidly built. Obviously not real wood at this price point, but the faux wood pattern is clean and smooth. The unit was much larger than I expected, but that’s my fault for not checking dimensions first. One thing that annoys me about it is that you can’t get a true fade out on the radio volume. For instance say there are audio levels 0-10. When you get the dial down to 3 it goes completely mute. You can’t get to 2 or 1. This is only true for the Radio function - the other modes don't have the issue. Overall a nice piece that I’m happy with.
