I ordered this water bottle for my 5 year old son to take to school. He keeps it in his backpack and it's doesn't leak at all. He's able to open and close it without any issues. It's very easy to take apart and clean. Love it

I think for little ones they are fine. Not for kids above 4 since they drink way more water when outdoors in the sun. So for summer time not so much uselful. I bought to keep water cool, but I find myself carrying an iced water bottle with me anyways. Maybe they should do 16-18oz with a straw!!

This thermos is so great. I have a kid who is very picky about what goes in his mouth and he loves these. The straw is soft silicone and it keeps drinks cold even in really hot weather. The design/patterned ones do tend to wear off eventually from washing. We love them!

I have several of these so I know I like the bottle itself and especially the new and improved straw that comes out easier. However this specifically says matte black in the description title and it is not matte black, it’s actually a light black that is very shiny.
