Sateen Cotton Firm European Goose Down Bed Pillow - Beautyrest

Being a side and stomach sleeper finding a perfect pillow has been so hard to find. I do not like down alternative pillows. I never thought about trying a gusseted pillow. I have no neck pain and less creases on my face when I wake up. It’s not as lofty as it looks in the photos. I thought I would be getting a firmer pillow. At this price point I wish it came with a pillow protector. Now I’m trying to find gusseted pillow protectors to fit these pillows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goose down pillows are my favorite, I've been sleeping with them since I was a small child. This pillow is the perfect size for my king size bed. The pillow is firm, but very soft and comfortable.

The pillow is filled well and doesn’t sink flat the second you rest your head on it like some feather pillows do. I also like the large size of it. It is excellent quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never got alot of feather pillows because the feathers tend to poke out and irritate the skin. But I believe the cover on this pillow protects from the goose feathers coming out because I have yet to feel them. Its nice and round but only goes down a little bit when you lay on it which is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This king sized pillow is huge! I can fold it up and cuddle to it and use it as a body pillow. The pillow is fully stuffed but it compresses when I rest my head on it. I have had pillows that are full and look comfortable but they stay full when you try to sleep, causing neck pain. I have no such problems with this pillow. If I want it fuller, I fold it in half. It is easy to adjust. There is no scent from the down fill and I have not seen any feathers poking out. I've been sleeping great!

It came in its own zippered package so it was clean on arrival, though it did have a bit of a smell to it. I aired it out for a day before using it and never had any issue! It’s a very fluffy pillow, but not overly so, just very comfortable!

I'm a side sleeper and I felt like it wasn't firm enough to keep my spine in good alignment as I slept. I didn't find it comfortable but it may be fine for someone who likes a softer pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is the best pillow I’ve ever had!! It’s a goose feather pillow, which I’ve never tried before. I took my old, flat pillow away that I’ve been sleeping on for about 6 years, and put on a pillowcase on my new one. I sat in my bed and laid back, and wow!! I sunk into it, and it has firmness to it at the same time to support my back. The only glitch is that it has to be dry cleaned, but in this case, I don’t mind a bit. The sateen pillowcase that it comes in makes it silky and moveable in my pillowcase. This pillow is a must have!! Mine is a side sleeper also.

It does not feel like a normal feather pillow and to honest it doesn't sound like one either. Its extremely soft, almost has a fiberfill quality to it. It absolutely has no support, which is usual for a feather pillow. Over all if you like feather pillows you'll either love this one or hate it. Inusually smush mine to make it a little firmer, I can't seem to do that with this one.

It is very full of goose down. After using this pillow for a few days I realize this pillow is a little too firm for me. But overall it’s a quality pillow.

They end up becoming flat as a pancake and must be folded and molded in order to sleep on. I’m happy to say that I’ve tossed my last pillow and have gotten a Beautyrest White Goose Down Jumbo Bed Pillow as a replacement. This pillow is truly a luxurious upgrade. I also like that it is for a side sleeper, which I am, that it is filled with 650 fill power european white goose down, that it is hypoallergenic, freshloft clean, and that it is protected by Microban antimicrobial technologies and odor control. The cover is crisp and fresh with a 400 thread count, 100% cotton sateen cover. I also liked that it was packaged in a zippered package to protect it. I used it for my nap today and it was so comfortable. It was fluffy with enough give to cradle my head and was even comfortable with my cpap mask. I will be looking around and buying more of these and have already recommended it to family and friends.

It forms around your head and neck nicely but puffs back out to it’s original form pretty quickly. The case is thick enough that you don’t have to worry about any feathers poking out. I would let it air out for a day or two before use because it had a slight smell fresh out of the bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beauty rest Goose Down pillow is great to sleep on. When I put my head on it, it slowly sinks down and contours my head. The pillow does not flatten at the other edges so the contour for my neck and chin are supported. I slept very well.

I’m a side sleeper and like a nice, thick, firm pillow. Usually down pillows don’t provide the support I need, but this one is gusseted, so is thick and plenty firm enough for me. And yet, it’s got the soft comfort of down. It’s a great quality pillow and feels very luxurious. I’ve been sleeping great since I got it!
