Bought this coffee table in May 2024 and by January 2025 the parts for the lifting mechanism had failed. We never kept much on the table, just used it to lift up to eat on (which we can no longer do). The replacement parts aren't available at general hardware stores, and despite a "5 year limited warranty", Sauder says my warranty is expired and there are no replacement parts available. So it feels like a waste of money. Oh, and it's also SUPER heavy, so it'll be a pain to carry and get rid of too. 🙃

Very well packaged. I had no dings or damaged pieces. Pretty easy to put together and the unit is very solid. I'm very happy with it. The only thing I would say is that the springs to the lift top are very tight. I need to look up how to loosen them up a little.

Terrible quality. While putting this together, the wood split. Gonna try to see if they can send me a new part but if not, hopefully I can return it.

We are enjoying this piece appreciate all of the assistance with information and options in the Sauder Outlet Store from John. We are a homeschool family and this table will allow our children to store their textbooks and binders as well as work as a group at this table in our living room.

Wife and I tried to assemble the Lift-top Coffee Table (Model #427323). Noted the following during assembly. The cam screws seem to be shorter on the threads when screwing into the parts. The pre-drilled holes are either the same size as the hardware or the wood being used is too soft. The cam screws do not just hold like the older models. When trying to assemble a shelf assembly to an upright, we tried to move the shelf on its side like the instructions show. Both side panels broke off because the cam screws are just not holding.

There were a couple pieces damaged during shipping but it was super easy to request those replacement parts. It took a few hours to put together, and you can do all but the last few steps without a 2nd person. All in all, it was a fun project and ended up being a beautiful addition to our living room.
