There is nothing special about this throw. It's not comfortable. The cotton isn't very soft. The quality isn't up to par for the price paid. Even on sale. Seems cheaply made. I have not yet washed it but based on the wash tag instructions, I highly doubt it will hold up since it cannot be submerged in water for any length of time. I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing.

The care instructions on tag indicates the blanket can be submerged in water no more than 15 minutes, and not to use in dryer. My “express” cycle probably meets that requirement, but I don’t want to hang a blanket to dry. After one wash with a softening agent, blanket is not soft. I gave 2 stars because seams are well done.

Very soft--haven't washed it yet--and very thin in a good way. Will be perfect for hotter days. In the meantime, I like to layer them for extra warmth. I love the purple color, design and texture.
