Petite Marbled Ceramic Table Lamp with Fabric Shade - Simple Designs

I don’t know what country these came from but the light bulb receptacles don’t work for any American light bulbs, I can’t find a source and am returning these.

I like this lamp overall. It (mostly) looks like it does in the Target pics and is a simple, classic design that will fit with most decor styles. A bargain for the price. That said, it has notable issues. Most importantly, the cord on the base of the lamp is on the side, not the back, of the lamp, and so it is visible. Why they would do this, I have no idea. You can turn the lamp, I suppose, but then you'd lose the horizontal rectangular profile, which is part of the lamp's aesthetic appeal. Also, please note the lamp I ordered and have uploaded here was the "gray", as I was looking for the darker base and black shade. The one I got looks more like the "black" with the lighter base, so I am not sure if I got the right product. Finally, two small things: 1. Though it is described as "faux marble", the lamp is very light. That works for me, but it was a surprise as it "feels' heavier in the Target photos. 2. This is clear in the description, but make sure you are aware the lamp calls for a candelabra lightbulb. I didn't catch that, and while I happened to have one sitting around, some might not.
