Q: Hello, Oeko still allows some limit of PFAs. Does this pillow have any water, fade, stain or fire resistance added? Btw, this pillow doesn’t actually have the Oeko certificate on it (checked the tags). Thank you!

This pillow does not have additional water, fade, stain or fire resistant treatments added. We are working to make sure all labels have the Oeko-tex certificate numbers on them. Q: Are there PFAs on the pillow? Ie is it chemically treated for stain, water, or fire resistance? It’s Oketo-Tex certified, but that doesn’t answer the question about PFAs. Thanks.

A: Hello Damaged - We appreciate your interest in this item. No, if a pillow is Oeko-Tex certified, it should not contain PFAs (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) as Oeko-Tex standards explicitly ban these chemicals, meaning a certified pillow is considered free of PFAs. I ordered 2 of the light blue and they are so cheap. The pillows inside the cover do not fit so there’s extra fabric. There’s also no edges like the pictures and reviews show so I’m thinking I got sent 2 cheap versions of the same color. Will be returning not worth $30 each.

I like this fabric and the fact that a euro is available with this bedding, but I was only interested in the euro cover to go on my existing feather inserts. I would’ve paid the same without their insert. The zipper opening though on these are too small. I heard it rip slightly when I was just gently removing the insert it came with. I thought I would still give them a chance and tried a second one and hoped my feather insert would be easy to shape to get into the zipper. Nope ripped bigger than the other one. Super bummed since it’s hard to find bedding with the euros available without spending a ton. I included pics. I hadn’t used these at all and just opened them. You can see how much wider the insert is than the zipper opening.
