Vintage Traditional Medallion Indoor Runner or Area Rug by Blue Nile Mills

NOT washable! It’s a pretty rug, but the label on the back of the rug literally says to spot clean only. I notified target of this product being misrepresented online and then told me to call Blue Nile. I did and left a message months ago, and no one has ever bothered to follow up. So here’s your warning and hopefully saves you the hassle of returning!

The product is worth the price and there's nothing to dislike about it.

I wanted to live with the rug for a couple of weeks before writing the review. I love it even more today, than the day it arrived. (Photo taken after arrival before rug settled flat). First, functionality: The rug is incredibly soft, both in feel and cushion (for a thinner rug). The pile is a short cut velvety poly fiber rather than the loop style, which I love. It adds an elegance that makes it look more expensive than it is. I have not machine washed the rug and do not think this size will fit in my standard washer, but it week likely fit in an oversized commercial washer. My plan is to spot clean and hose it off and hang to dry each for a deep clean. The rug does slip on my bare floor a bit with no pad and although the larger surface settled flat, the corners do curl a bit. I added rug grip stickers at the corners. Next, Beauty & Esthetic: I love the colors in this; cream, taupe, beige, grey, and charcoal. I wanted a neutral rug with visual interest to pull together the browns and greys in my room and this fit the bill perfectly. I also love how the center and border print along the longer sides a bit faded. And finally, the Price: For a washable rug is this size the piece is amazing!

Arrived quickly, color was as pictured. Good quality rugs, with non slip backing. I washed them first and a lot of loose pile came off, and put in dryer on low heat. They dried fairly quickly, and more pile separated from both rugs, however the pile is very thick so it wasn't an issue. I've had them in a well used bathroom / shower for over a week and they are holding up well, with no loose pile coming off at all. I am glad I purchased these rugs. I also purchased matching towels which are also quite good in quality. I would recommend these rugs and the towels. Gene

Beautiful rug to cover a large area

I love this rug. It grows on me more and more every day. Visually interesting and an incredible value. I looked for rugs from many places for 8 months. I needed something big and didn't want to spend a lot of money. When I saw this one I jumped on it and am very happy with it!

This rug is beautiful and I liked the soft blue color. I can't for the life of me get one of the edges to stay down, but its a small corner. It's pretty thin and not exactly soft, but has worked well for us in a couple of different homes.
