it was hard to find an chaise scaled fora. NYC apt that was modern and neutral but not depressing or bulbous. I wanted something enr closet i coudl use to fold laundy, sit on to put on shoes, and curl up on to read - so not to ahve to do all that in bed. Was nervous to buy furniture from a big box store on the cheap but it looks great.
