This umbrella looks nice but the provided base is not wide enough nor heavy enough to handle any amount of wind. If it were used soley to be inserted inside a patio table it'd probably be okay but by itself it abosulety doesn't work on days with any amount of wind no matter how minor.

The pole was orange and not a wood like brown. Very disappointing. And to return it you can’t take it to any target. Has to be special locations. Do not buy.

I've owned numerous umbrellas with the joint/tilt button. All of them broke whether I used the feature or not. So far this umbrella has withstood pretty heavy wind loads without any problems.
