Q: Will sanding sugar work?
A: Hi, the Large crystal sanding sugar will not work because it take a higher heat to melt the larger granules. Fine sugars work best. thank you

Q: Do you HAVE to let it run the full 38 minutes or can we unplug earlier?
A: Hello, no you can turn off or unplug the unit before the 38 minute self shut and cool down period. Please make sure though that all the sugar you have put in the unit has been melted and turned to floss so that no more is coming out. This way the melted sugar won't solidify in the spinner and clog. Also allow the unit to cool down before cleaning it. Thank you.
