Brother CP60X 60-Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine

Easy to use and understand. I make pillowcases for children at the hospital.

There is NO light for stitch selector…. Many choices of stitches but hard to see setting with no light

The blue plate that tells you what numbers to use for the stitches is almost unreadable. The print on this needs to be black.

Does everything my innovo doesnt. I needed a machine do sew denim and heavy duty this does it.

LED screen needs to have back lighting. Suggest read manual carefully and practice with various stitches before sewing a project.

Won’t feed fabric and just knots up in the bobbin area and the “tutorials” are NOT model specific

I intended to use this for piecing quilts, Every time I touch it it acts up this machine eats fabric constantly , even after cleaning, changing the needle, changing thread, changing bobbin....now it's nesting all of a sudden. It's spent more time in timeout than in use !! Maybe it's a fluke ? this is just got a bad one? IDK, but it is to the point I'm angry at it just looking at it & I am the most calm patient person you'll ever meet. I have a Brother XR9550 that I love . maybe this one is a fluke , the time/money it would take to return or take to a repair shop is more than what this machine is worth , Very disappointed!

I bought this machine as a second. I love everything about it. It's easy to thread, easy to wind a bobbin. Sews really quiet. Great for a beginner and accomplished sewist alike.

I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far it seems like a very solid sewing machine. I bought it mainly for all the stitches that are available on it. My projects are turning out great.. It is a user-friendly machine that makes sewing so much more easier. Great presets and it is quiet too. I like that there is a large workspace and measured guide marks on the needle plate. I can sew with more accuracy and with more room. The machine also features automatic needle threader and bobbin winding. This sewing machine is functional and quick. I love it!

That being said I will only give you my honest opinions. Being that I live to craft and see I know my way around a sewing machine, but Brother CP60X 60-stitch Computerized Sewing Machine, makes things so much easier for me. I love it! It comes with 7 different feet, my favorite feature is that it comes with so many different built in stitching available, 60 to be exact. I love that I am able to use different decorative stitching for my projects. I have used a few already. I have actually made masks for my husband, kids, and myself. I have also made a lovey bear for my baby boy made out of his baby clothes. It is super easy to start using, preparing it before is easy. I am actually teaching my daughter how to use it, because she wants to learn and she has actually caught on pretty quick. I highly recommend this for everyone. It's great if you're just starting out as is my daughter. It is high quality and very durable. I really love all the features it has.

It was very easy to setup and the instructions were easy to follow. This had build In needle threader the 2-step automatic needle threader is the best thing yet the needle threader reliably pushes the thread through the needle. This is definitely a step up from my old sewing machine. Also comes with some stuff to get you started.

The Brother CP60X sewing machine is a great sewing machine for beginners like me, as well as advanced users that love sewing. The included instructions are detailed, with a step-by-step guide that includes pictures and is easy to understand and follow, which makes the initial setup of the sewing machine an easy task to complete. You can also scan the QR code at the front of the sewing machine for the setup instructions and to watch additional how-to tutorial videos, which is really helpful! I really like the bright LED light that illuminates the work area to help me see well when sewing. I also love the feature of the 60-built in stitch choices and the machine also has 7 different auto-sized buttonholes settings, each setting you choose will be shown on the easy to read LCD screen in the upper right corner on the front of the sewing machine. The sewing machine comes with plenty of accessories, such as 7 different sewing feet to suit your sewing job best and make it easy. Threading the needle is very easy and the bobbin drops in underneath the work area for easy, convenient access. The best part is that it has a 25 year limited parts warranty that the Brother company offers for its product, which is an excellent value. Overall, this machine is durable and has a strong motor, and it is very well built, keeping beginners in mind, and even my older kids were able to learn sewing on this machine! Great quality product. Would definitely highly recommend!

I can say that after trying it out, I would have happily have paid for it ! It’s so lightweight, and set up was a breeze . The possibilities of what this machine can do seem endless ! I just received this sewing machine to replace an older one that I had. This is truly a full featured unit. I really like how easy to use and compact this machine is. The lcd display is a nice touch also. It came with plenty of sewing floret so you can do pretty much any job. The “Quick-Set” bobbin is also another nice feature along with the brightly lit work area.

I’ve spent the past week putting this machine through its paces. I’ve sewn clothing and upholstery pieces and am very happy with the performance of this machine. The built in stitches have been great for decorative edging and the buttonhole attachment/stitches made buttons a breeze. This machine never struggled to get through heavy fabric or multiple layers. I would also recommend this to someone (like me) who has trouble threading the needle because the needle threader was a lifesaver!
