I purchased one of these suits and liked the fit so much that I purchased a second one a short time later! However, now I'm disappointed that I did. I've had wonderful luck with previous swimsuits from Lands' End - they have been long lasting, color-fast, and comfortable. Of the two suits of this style that I now own, I've worn the one maybe a dozen times and the other about half of that. The underwire on one the first has completely come out and the underwire on the second is already painfully poking through. It's just such a bummer!

I started wearing this suit to the pool about a month ago and it’s already beginning to fade. It’s still holding its shape but I feel it won’t last more than a few months. The wiring began to protrude and I removed them.

I have bought several of these suits over the last two years. I use them a lot for water aerobics classes. I really appreciate a "petite" swimsuit as I am a little short at 5'3". My main complaint, it only takes a few wears for these suits to start fading. What's the problem Lands End? I see many reviews with the same complaints. I will buy again when you can fix this problem. These suits are costly, and it's just not worth the money spent to only last a few months. So sad, as the style, etc., is excellent.

I am 5' 9" 120 lbs so I need a tall/ long suit. I have learned to buy my suit 2 sizes bigger than I need so I purchased an 8 instead of 4. it is snug but not up the butt. Flattering gathering and underwire in the top. exactly what I have wanted.

This swimming costume fits my bust better than any swimming costume I have had before . I feel very secure in it without it being too tight. Because I’m only 5’1” I do find it a bit long for my torso. But anyone normal height would find it a great fit all round. I wish You would make it in a petite size with the under wired DDD for me that would make it fit perfectly.

I wanted Carmela in Brown (as well as other jewel tone colors) but I am a DDD. Why did you answer my wish but only in small sizes? Nothing above a C ... boo hoo! Please add more colors but include the larger bust sizes too - that is why many of us BUY the Carmela! Over and over and over again...every color except polka dots!

I have at least 5 Slendersuits size 14D. . This is the first Carmela I tried, 14D is way too tight.!! I am very disappointed in the offerings of slender suits this year. I usually wear the Wrap but all it is offered in Blue, Black and Pink. The reviews for the Grecian show the suit fades in blue in pink (only D cup). The new Pleated XBack is obviously not suited for a D cup from the reviews. (Why show a slender suit on a skinny model?) Have been a faithful Lands End Slender Suit buyer for years but am so discouraged will look elsewhere. So many beautiful classy competitive suits out there now for less in MARCH!!

I have been faithful to Lands End swimwear for over 30 years. One of my lands end suits is the Carmela. I have enjoyed it for 10’years., so I purchased a new one. The quality has gone down r dramatically. The fabric is thinner. My old suit has better fit and smoother control than the new one. I had to return it./

Per usual when I try Lands End bathing suits, i had to buy more than a size bigger. However I love the fit, now that I found it. There is little to no stretch in this bathing suit, but it looks, feels great.

I love this suit but....will now have to find an alternative. I bought 3 of these suits a year ago and all three wore out within 6 months in the back, where they are not lined. I just ordered 3 more and at least one underwire came out of every suit after one wearing or washing. One came out during its maiden swim!
