This throw was a perfect match for pillows I purchased that have a cherry red background. It is a true birth red. Not pigeon blood or rust or any number of other permutations. The quality of the knit is also very good. I did not keep it because the style did not work well with the pillows, but that is not an indictment of the quality. If you are looking for a warm throw for cold nights on the couch this looks great for that.

Sheds horribly! I bought two (red) and washed, and they still left lint all over my sofa and bed, ruined my Woolsie’s dryer balls, and clogged dryer vent. Before I washed them, they were so bad that the fuzz wrapped around my dogs teeth/gums while he was eating his rawhide on them and had to take him to vet to have it removed. Never been so disappointed in a product from Target!
I like this blanket for its bright color which has remained through several laughings, softness, and medium warmth. It is still shedding a lot of lint though, so the yarn quality could be higher.
