The chrome option is pictured as chrome but came as a matte grayish silver color. See pictures for color comparison to my bath fixtures. I confirmed the packaging said Chrome, so it wasn't just a mixup but is not as pictured. The paint job overall is thin on the top end of the rods, showing streaks. It's functional, but overall a bummer due to the color. Pictured is a Casaluna bath sheet just fitting on the back and another regular sized towel from Target on the front.
