Description
Add a layered look to your home with the Wakefield 5/8" Standard Decorative Window Double Curtain Rod by Kenney. The 5/8 inch diameter Wakefield double curtain rod in black adds a layered look to your windows. Layering curtains gives you more control over how much light to let into your room throughout the day and provides more insulation during colder months. To layer, place heavier, decorative curtains on the front rod and lighter, sheer curtains on the back rod. Use on larger windows and in larger rooms, like your bedroom or living room, to hang light to medium weight curtains. The telescoping rods adjust from 36 inches to 66 inches or 66 inches to 120 inches to fit your window. The front rod projects 4.6 inches from the wall, while the back rod projects 2.5 inches. This double rod is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel double curtain rod with decorative ball finials (2.07" L x 1.56" W x 1.56" H), two mounting brackets, one center support, screws, drywall anchors, and installation instructions.

Having a double rod over a window can really add an extra designer look and versatility because of the different looks you can achieve not to mention to versatility in light blocking or filtering depending on which curtain you have hanging and which one is pulled back.

Support brackets are strong and solid. I love the dual rods, which enables the ability to layer curtains. I like a sheer back for light and privacy and a darkening curtain for keeping house cool in the day.
