Sent a used game with ripped up packing. Have to go through the inconvenience of mailing it back. It was going to be a gift and now it’s sold out. I owned this game and love it… but would not recommend purchasing it from target.

This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year old son, who loves LOTR. We played it with him little by little during his school break and beat the game this evening. It’s broken into chapters, and each chapter has its own unique rules and challenges to complete, although the flow of the game remains the same throughout. The first chapter we were a bit slow and clunky, but once we got into a groove with it we had a ton of fun. There’s lots of strategy and teamwork involved. You don’t need to be a LOTR expert to play, but some familiarity with the story helps to understand characters and the “why” (if that makes sense). The game pieces are also high quality, so this could be used for years to come. Overall a great family bonding activity, especially during a vacation when you have some time on your hands.

I was a tad hesitant to even get this, but my wife and I love LOTR and my wife loves cooperative games.... so..... Purchased. Absolutely love it! I have played probably 600-700 different games. My collection of games places my marriage in jeopardy. LOL. We have found a glorious little refuge in this LOTR coop. It ticks all the boxes. Great film art. Quick setup. Light rules. Can play in 30 minutes a session and then "save" the game very easily. If you like LOTR and have a family, this is an instant purchase. Love the miniatures too. PS... The balance on Chapter 3 is very tense. We failed multiple times before SUCCESS! This games has beautiful moments.

Is like an interactive book. I have all 3 adventure books by ravensburger. They are entertaining and beautiful. This one specifically has 8chapter(mini games) first chapter is the easiest and as the game progresses it get more challenging. Love to play it solo but cooperative with other player is fun as well
