I love these water bottles but frustrated that the straw can’t be replaced. The water bottle works great but it needs to be trashed since my daughter chewed a hole in the straw.

These are the only water bottles I buy for my kid. They are straight up the only ones that don’t leak. I only keep buying them because we lose them, but they’re super durable and don’t melt and the seal stays good if all the parts are cleaned on the top dishwasher rack.

I love the bottle, but I only had it a few minutes when my grandson bit thru the sip nipple. And after an exhausting search I found out you cannot replace the sip nipple. Very sad when you are selling a product for children and children chew!!! Do not recommend to buy for kids!!!

I have a kids stainless steel water bottle with an autospout. This is a replacement bottle for the first one which had a problem with the lid. When sucking the spout I get a lot of air and very little water. This is exactly what was happening with the first bottle I had so I returned the bottle to the store I bought it at and got this other one. After reading many reviews here I do not see that this has been an issue for others; however, many others have wanted to replace the lids for one reason or another and the company still does not offer that option. Contigo makes the lids so they could offer replacement lids. Such a waste when we have such a need and we want to use less and throw away less. It's past time for Contigo to care for the earth and do this simple thing.

Only had this thing like a month and a half and it’s leaking water like crazy. No obviously broken parts but I can’t figure out why the water is suddenly pouring out of it. Very disappointing.

I love everything about this water bottle except that it leaks. For a kids water bottle it is such a nightmare because it gets all over the diaper bag. I feel like maybe we got a defective one but it is such a let down cause it was not cheap.

We love it. It's important to point out pretty much all plastic stuff these days is top rack only in the dishwasher. The water is super hot in there and warps stuff over time so just hand wash if this is a concern. I like it.

It’s 2024 with all the waste in the world you would think a company would care about the earth and make replacement parts instead of throwing out a perfectly useable water bottle minus a lid. If the company doesn’t realize ppl want to keep using a good product but will jump ship when you can’t find parts for it. Do better!

Too hard to clean

I was looking for a smaller tumbler for my 20 month old. This one was still larger than what I was looking for, but still smaller than most in the market so I tried it out. Functionality wise it is good and the handle is handy, but I found it extremely difficult to clean. The parts are complicated which makes it difficult to clean with sponge or brush, and none of the parts are clear so I cannot know if it is cleaned or dried. This prevents me from using it and I use the Thermos 10 oz tumber one way more.

Water left in the bottle for a few hours would consistently turn into a strong iodine taste and smell of iodine. How scary is that?? Did an at home lead test ON THE INSIDE and it tested positive. Have submitted a report to the CPSC. Toddler used it a few times before we realized after having left water in the bottle for longer.

This is a great standard kid sized water bottle, but when it's lower on water the straw makes a loud squeaking sound - louder than I've heard from any other water bottle. It is also somewhat heavy for its size.

I love Contigo for its leakproof-ability! I have bought over 10 of these, but no more! Every single one of them have had the handle break within a year! I have spent over $200 on contigo Kids water bottles and have 0 faith the handle will not break! I now use Simple Modern since my kids are old enough to flip the straw down.
