Was easy to assemble but about an inch too short for my antique Queen wood post bed. I had to buy wooden slats to make up for the difference because I put it together and tried to lay down and it fell through!

I don't usually write reviews, but this item is so good, it deserves it. It costs a little bit more than some of the other units, but it is well worth it! The special ratchet tool that is included is a stroke of genius, and as far as I'm concerned, it makes this unit worth twice as much as the others. I watched an assembly video on YT before buying, and that really clinched the deal. Everything just snaps together (very securely) and there are only 8 screws that need to be put in. Using the included ratchet tool makes it a breeze. I'm 70 years old, and I assembled it myself without any help and was able to easily slide it on the carpet and lift it onto the bed frame. If you need a box spring replacement, quit looking at others and get this one - you won't regret it.

This is a great boxspring! VERY easy assembly and instructions were as clear as they could be. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the reviews stating how hard it was to put together but this was one of the easiest things I’ve put together. It probably took 10 minutes total from opening the box to putting on our bed frame. It has the spring buttons so everything pops into place except for 8 screws through the middle that it gives a helpful tool to screw them in. It seems very sturdy and less flimsy than typical wood boxsprings. Highly recommend. And if you’re like me, ignore the reviews saying it’s hard to put together.

It's a tad over-engineered - instructions for assembly need more words, less pictures. We were disappointed in the height of the assembled bed from floor. Looks juvenile. Now we will have to get a bed frame to make it look like real furniture. Too bad we had inherited the platform/mattress frame from a previous owner of our house and we had to make lemonade from a lemon.

This was easy to build and get on my bed frame. It took some time to sort out all of the pieces since they weren’t labeled but the directions were clear once I had my work area set up like the directions. I did it while my spouse was at work. From delivery, to old box springs out and new one in was about 1 hour. Our mattress already feels so much more comfortable. We went from 2 twin classic style box springs to this platform support. I am a fan!

Hard to assamble. Parts did not come with numbers! Nowadays products come with numbers for customers to assemble it by themselves.

This was very easy for a single mom of 4 to put together! I couldn’t believe how easy it was! By the time Dirty Dancing was finished, I had my box spring put together and bed up and ready to sleep in! Would highly recommend.

I'm a 78yr old mechanically skilled arthritic, the most difficult step was bringing the box in and making myself follow the directions. Pros: Best directions I've seen in years. Excellent small parts package, well marked, even the spares. Good provided tools. All the parts fit!!! Cons: Nothing of consequence, the cross bars are a "snug" fit, I tapped them in with a rubber mallet. Total time from box opening to setting the mattress on top was just under an hour and a half.
Don't pay attention the instructions!

Unpacked box. Tried to follow the "Easy as 123 " photo instructions. Useless. There weren't 2 "#1" peices. Actually thought one of them wasn't in box. Shipping said 9 frame peices. There were 9. Finally looked at bed frame picture. Laid out peices on bed frame. Only thing I used instruction sheet for was to see which screws went where. Could have saved myself 15 minutes if I just would have done that in the first place.
